At Advanced Group, we're passionate about people and supporting our community. Through a range of ongoing charity and education initiatives, we're always investing in creating a bright future for our staff and Aotearoa.
We have worked with Lifewise and AUT University to create the Advanced Group Jump Start Scholarship, this provides an opportunity for 18-24 years old disadvantaged by life to achieve their dreams of university education.
We provide a Marketing Scholarship in conjunction with AUT University, which provides funding as well as part-time employment. This scholarship has been in place for the last eight years.
We have supported the Franklin Science Fair in South Auckland in 2018, 2019 and 2020. And strongly encourage such initiatives in the community.
The Shadow a Leader programme gives Auckland secondary school students and AUT Faculty of Business and Law students the opportunity to follow a business leader for a day. Advanced Group is pleased to have participated in this initiative since 2013, by giving selected students the chance to shadow our CEO for a day.
The Runway Foundation is a registered charitable trust passionate about supporting our New Zealand communities.
The Foundation works alongside other New Zealand commendable 'hearty' organisations to make a positive difference in the lives of those who are fighting difficult circumstances.
We support people within the community who are in need, providing crucial financial assistance.
Advanced Group are proud to help fund The Runway Foundation Community House which provides a community facility for families in need of support.
We support the employment of youth coaches providing critical support for our young people.
ADHD: The fitting out of a specialised classrooms in a South Auckland school for children with learning disabilities.
ADHD: The Runway Foundation via the ADDVenturers initiative operate parent support groups that meet on a fortnightly basis.
ADHD: ADDVenturers also operate a Kids Club for children with ADHD where they can safety participate in fun activities while developing social skills.
ADHD: Supporting Primary, Intermediate and High Schools around working with children and youth with ADHD.
We directly support families in need so children can attend camps.
We support and encourage the community and our Runway family through community picnics which involve fun activities.
Advanced Group recognises the importance of an efficient helicopter rescue service. We are proud to be a financial supporter of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter service.
IHC is New Zealand’s leading provider of services for people with intellectual disabilities. We are proud to support them monthly on an ongoing basis.
We support the Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch City Missions and the important work they do.
