Business Manager
Sam Crowther is an accomplished professional with a successful track record in structured cabling, security and low-voltage systems. Currently serving as the Business Manager at Cablenet, Sam previously held the position of Upper North Island Regional Manager at Advanced Security. With extensive experience in project management and regional leadership, Sam has consistently delivered exceptional results throughout his career.
Starting his career in the fire alarm industry, Sam gained valuable hands-on experience in project execution and service. His transition to installing low voltage systems, such as structured cabling, Nurse Call, MATV, and intercoms, further expanded his expertise in the field. This diverse background equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of various ICT, security and communication technologies.
Sam's passion for leadership and team development sets him apart. He believes a strong and empowered team is the foundation of business success. Throughout his managerial roles, Sam has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to supporting and guiding his staff, enabling them to step into new roles and overcome challenges. His dedication to their growth and accomplishments fuels his own drive for success.

Account Manager
Steve is the Account Manager for Cablenet and has been part of the Senior Management team for most of his Cablenet career. He began his work on the practical side of IT but has since spent the last 16 years working on the day-to-day operations of the company and retaining strong relationships with clients.
A work milestone for Steve was achieving a Nationwide contract with the Ministry of Education, where the team worked on improving over 100 schools IT communications and utilising almost 100 staff at the time. Steve enjoys the challenge of pursuing the next big contract to create successful and long-lasting partnerships with businesses.
Outside of work, he spends his afternoons on the tennis court, but is an all-rounder for enjoying competitive sports.
Steve is looking forward to the next chapter of joining the TPT Group family and is excited for the new challenges that his role will bring to the table.
Auckland Branch Manager
Matt is the Auckland Branch Manager for Cablenet, who offers his long-built industry knowledge to provide great expertise for his customers.
Matt has achieved 27 years in the data cabling industry and gained over 18 years’ experience on site as a data technician. He has successfully integrated his practical work passions into his account manager role, where he can ensure that customers’ needs are being met first-hand.
Matt continues his interest in technology into his spare time, where he enjoys gaming and trying out all things electronic. He has been with his partner for 22 years and they enjoy regular family movie nights with their daughter.
With a focus on customer success and engagement, Matt enjoys his role working with the Cablenet team and his customers. He appreciates the opportunities to experience a variety of work and visit multiple sites – he’s always on the move to empower his customers.
Branch Manager - Palmerston North and Napier
Cameron Te Amo is the Branch Manager for Cablenet Palmerston North, who offers experience in people management and leading projects.
Cameron has worked in a wide range of job fields. From leading records management projects, CNC joinery programming, and being a team leader for an organisation that works with the intellectually disabled.
Outside of work, Cameron often finds himself spending time with his family, which involves giving them grief. If he can make the time, he will happily go for a round of golf where he tries to spend more time on the green rather than in the trees.
Cameron is looking forward to the future of Cablenet, where he looks to play a part in helping us grow.
Branch Manager - Christchurch
Craig was brought up on a farm and left school to get a trade as a cabinetmaker. Craig completed this and followed his real passion for IT and technology. Craig worked for Cabernet for 12 years before leaving for a 3-year break to do electrical and has since returned 5 years ago to take a Management role in Christchurch.
Over the many years, Craig has been focused on moving the business forward in technology and himself into management, where he found a new passion. He's forever learning and now has roles spanning project management and branch management. Craig has been heavily involved with several successful recent projects as the business has grown and continues to under his leadership in the South Island.
Office Manager
Rebecca Aston has been a part of Cablenet for the past 10 years. In this time, she has grown in her capacity and skills.
She is looking forward to establishing herself in her newly appointed role of Office Manager. Rebecca particularly excels at organisation and management within the company. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her young family.
They often go for trips around the city, visiting the zoo, museum and beaches. Rebecca also enjoys baking up a storm and checking out new restaurants
